SMS Program

Text messaging & consent

Last updated: July 13, 2026

This page describes the text-messaging (SMS) program operated on the Everborn platform, so participants — and mobile carriers reviewing the program — can see exactly what it is, who receives messages, how people consent, and how to stop. The binding terms are the SMS Program terms and the Privacy Policy.

Who the program is for

Everborn provides licensing and onboarding software to organizations (each a “program”) that help people become licensed insurance agents. The people who receive texts are enrolled participants of a program — agents-in-onboarding who are working toward their license. Messages come from their assigned licensing coordinator’s dedicated program number. This is not a marketing or promotional program; there are no advertisements and no third-party offers.

How participants opt in

Opt-in is a three-step, confirmed (double) opt-in — the participant's number is only ever collected one way, and no text is sent until they actively confirm:

  1. Enrollment. A participant provides their own mobile number when they begin the licensing enrollment process with the program (the same intake where they provide their name, state, and other enrollment details). At that same enrollment step, the person onboarding them tells them to expect a call or text from their licensing team. This is the only way a participant's mobile number enters the program — no number is ever added from a purchased list, a third party, or any source other than the participant's own enrollment.
  2. On the call — the full disclosure, spoken aloud, before any agreement. A licensing coordinator speaks with the participant by phone using that number. Before asking for agreement, the coordinator states out loud: what texts the participant will get (study reminders, appointment confirmations, and check-ins from their coordinator), that they may send up to ten messages per week, that message and data rates may apply, and that they can reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. Only after all of that is disclosed does the coordinator ask the participant to agree, and the participant verbally agrees.
  3. Confirmed by text. Immediately after, the participant is told a text is coming to confirm their enrollment. That text asks them to reply YES — a second, redundant, written consent record on top of the verbal one. No further texts are sent unless the participant replies YES. Their reply is kept as the record of consent.

The coordinator's spoken disclosure follows this script:

Coordinator: “As part of helping you get licensed, I can follow up with you by text — things like study reminders, appointment confirmations, and quick check-ins from me. We may send up to ten messages a week. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. You can reply HELP any time for help, or STOP to opt out completely. Is that okay?”

Participant: “Yes, that's fine.”

Coordinator: “Great — I'll send you a text now to confirm you're set up.”

A representative confirmation text reads:

“Everborn Operations LLC: you recently connected with our licensing team. Reply YES to get licensing help by text from your coordinator. Msg frequency varies; msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”

Opting in is voluntary and is never a condition of any purchase or of enrollment. A participant who does not reply YES receives no further texts; a participant who later replies STOP is unsubscribed immediately. Their number and consent are used only to run the program and are never sold or shared for marketing (see below).

What messages participants receive

Messages are operational and program-related only:

Representative messages:

“Hi [Name], this is [Coordinator] with your licensing team at Everborn Operations LLC. Your state exam is scheduled for Thursday at 10am — reply here with any questions. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

“Hi [Name], a quick reminder to finish Module 3 of your pre-licensing course this week so we stay on track for your exam. Reply STOP to opt out.”

Frequency, rates, and stopping

We may send up to ten messages per week, plus any conversation the participant starts. Message and data rates may apply depending on the participant’s mobile plan; the program itself carries no charge. Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately — one confirmation is sent and no further messages follow. Reply START to re-subscribe, or HELP for help. Help is also available at admin@everbornops.com.

Privacy

Mobile phone numbers and text-messaging opt-in consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging is delivered through our sub-processor Twilio solely to operate the program. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy and the SMS Program terms.

Website inquiries — a separate program

Distinct from the participant program above, Everborn operates a small text program for people who contact us through this website. If you submit the contact form and actively check the SMS box (it is unchecked by default and never required to send your message), you consent to receive text messages from Everborn about your inquiry at the number you provide.

The same privacy protection applies: your mobile number and opt-in consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.
